We Love Our Wallfair Family
The entire team here at Wallfair would like to take some moments to thank our incredible community, investors and partners.
Your on-going support since this project started has been overwhelming, especially in the past two weeks as we have edged ever-closer to our IDO and TGE and now we are officially live and trading on Uniswap.
Yesterday we launched our token through Trustpad. Our whitelist was oversubscribed by 158x and our IDO sold out in minutes and we of course went live on Uniswap, Coingecko and CMC. Not to mention all the amazing new community members that have filled our groups and channels and have joined us on social media. It has been incredible to see everyone come together to support the launch of our $WFAIR token and without you guys, yesterday would not have happened so smoothly.
Next stop, we launch Wallfair Alpha, the play-money version of our platform. We are very excited to start teasing you with all the exciting features we have on our platform and most importantly, next week we will be giving you more ways that you can be one of the first people to use our platform and earn extra $WFAIR for you to hodl.
Now onto the fun stuff. There were some issues yesterday when we launched and we would like to take the time to address some of the most common concerns and offer some transparency.
We heard from some early investors in the friends and family round that weren’t able to claim tokens, or didn’t receive a guide on how to do that. We have contacted every single one of our friends and family investors with a detailed guide on how to connect your wallet to our Investor dashboard. Please check the email you used to become a F&F investor, there you will find a guide.
We also realise there was a very high level of gas fees when trying to claim the tokens yesterday. Also some confusion around the vesting. We are sorry that you are experiencing such high gas fees at the moment, it is possible to claim all the IDO tokens after the vesting has been unlocked. The vesting is built into the contract and please refer to our tokenomics for a detailed insight into our vesting schedules.
Finally, there were a lot of questions around the claim page, some users weren’t able to access, some were and this caused a lot of confusion after we went live on Uniswap.
Yesterday we experienced a very high rate of traffic on the claim page which caused DNS issues and for some users trying to claim at the same time it was causing a lock out, server capacity has now been increased and we are now back up to full speed, the token claim page should now be working for you.
And finally, my favourite question: Why was there a delay to launch? Are you even real?
We are real, we are here to stay and we are going nowhere other than to the top. We are getting ready to launch our platform and for the Wallfair team, that is our complete focus now, we aren’t just another pump & dump, we are here for the long-hodl. We are here to bring our players an exciting, game changing platform, so watch this space. This is just the beginning.
