Wallfair liquidity mining program is designed to incentivize our token holders for providing liquidity to $WFAIR liquidity pools.
How liquidity mining works
Let’s start with a quick overview of how liquidity mining works.
Decentralised exchanges do not rely on order-matching like their centralised counterparts; instead, they maintain liquidity pools, comprising individual token pairs. All the trades are executed against these liquidity pools. The price of listed tokens adjusts after every single trade, which means a pool with higher liquidity will witness limited or almost negligible slippage, whereas a pool with lower liquidity will experience significant price movements.
As a measure to ensure sufficient liquidity and limit slippage, decentralized exchanges incentivize token holders for contributing liquidity to these pools. The liquidity providers are, in turn, rewarded with a portion of trading fees earned against each trade. If you’re a liquidity provider, you’ll receive a portion of this fee in proportion to your added liquidity.
Wallfair liquidity mining program
Wallfair liquidity mining program incentivises liquidity providers for adding liquidity to $WFAIR pools on Uniswap. Our reward structure includes Uniswap trading fees plus additional $WFAIR token bonuses to all of our liquidity providers. Your bonus tokens will be in proportion to your liquidity contributions. We plan to integrate our liquidity mining program with Wallfair platform.
Note: Liquidity providers may witness impermanent loss due to changes in token prices.
