$EVNT Token Utility
Our native token, $EVNT, will act as a digital casino chip used as the sole internal currency for all transactions on our platform. To ensure a substantial, sustained value of $EVNT, the token is a pivotal component of the Wallfair ecosystem, as it serves to function in a variety of ways:
- Event Creation — Every event creator is required to deposit a set given amount of $EVNT as the initial liquidity for the event. If more liquidity is needed, the creator can use $EVNT as collateral for a liquidity loan. To incentivize event creation, a percentage of the entire trading volume is rewarded to the event creator after a successful event. This creates token demand and influences token circulation within our ecosystem.
- Event Participation — Participation, in any event, requires users of our platform to place their trades through $EVNT. The current setup charges a flat fee for events, with the fee being distributed to Event Creators, Platform Liquidity Pool (PLP), and Event Creation Program (ECP). Winnings are distributed in $EVNT once all events are completed.
- Liquidity Mining — Users of our platform can stake their $EVNT tokens in the PLP to possibly earn $EVNT that can be used to pay for other Wallfair services; the $EVNT earned is generated dynamically based on the yield that is derived from a percentage of all trading volume that gets distributed to the PLP. The more $EVNT staked, the higher the potential of earning more tokens.
- Dispute resolution – In the case of dispute resolution that is based on a social consensus, users of our platform can stake their $EVNT on the correct outcome to receive a reward.
These expansive use cases for $EVNT will allow it to circulate within the ecosystem, creating demand and supply dynamics that positively influence its value in decentralized exchanges.
Wallfair Originals
As part of our overall strategy to maintain continuous network adoption of Wallfair’s platform, we will hold regular primetime events for our community. These events include ‘Wallfair Originals’ which will essentially be parallel to the events that users can create themselves.
